This beta privacy notice describes the account-backed DidAIWrite app. A complete operator-identified production notice must be reviewed before public launch.
Information collected
The account system processes your email address, sign-in provider, optional display name and role, terms acceptance, and session information. Your password is processed by Supabase Auth. Google sign-in shares the profile information permitted by the scopes shown in Google’s consent screen.
Writing and reports
Text checks are processed by the server and, when enabled, by the detection provider. Writing is not automatically added to your saved report library. Explicitly saved reports contain their text, score, sentence highlights, and provider details. Bulk jobs temporarily retain files and results for processing. Service providers and location
Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file storage in the United States (us-east-2). Vercel is the intended app host. Sapling is the current detection integration, subject to commercial and data-processing confirmation. Stripe and Resend are planned for payments and transactional email and remain subject to connection and verification.
Model training and provider retention
DidAIWrite’s application code does not use submitted writing to train a model. That is not a promise about the detection provider: Sapling’s general privacy policy allows content storage and service improvement. Do not submit sensitive student or client information until the applicable API data-processing agreement has been verified.
Cookies and measurement
Authentication uses essential session cookies. A random browser identifier and salted IP hashes are used for rate limiting once live detection is enabled. The app includes conversion-event hooks, but no Google Ads or GA4 identifier is configured. Advertising or analytics consent and final notices must be configured before those tags are activated. Fonts and illustrations are served with the app.
Your controls
You can edit your display name and role in Settings, delete saved reports, and sign out. You can also request account-data access or deletion from the operator once its support contact is published. Clearing browser storage does not delete cloud account data.
Contact and final notice
The operating legal entity, support email, postal address, applicable lawful bases, rights-request procedure, retention schedule, backup policy, and international-transfer terms have not been supplied. This beta notice does not assert compliance with Swiss, EU, California, or school-specific requirements and must be completed before a public launch.
